The Newtown General Store and Mistyvale Deli

http://newtown.patch.com/articles/review-newtown-general-store

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Newtown-General-Store/105133509547419?sk=wall

http://www.yelp.com/biz/newtown-general-store-newtown

They are both awesome places to eat, I can get in and out of Mistyvale in less than 5 minutes and less than 3 dollars with a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Sandwich and a Coffee... What's not to like?

Newtown High School Students can create a bottleneck at Mistyvale in the Morning, and the lunch crowd can make parking difficult at the General Store, both are worth the wait.

http://www.yelp.com/biz/misty-vale-deli-and-general-store-sandy-hook

The Hedge Fund Policy of Real Estate?

This may be hard to explain, and i have no statistical data to back it up. But over the years I have noticed a trend, that when the mainline media finely get's all over a story about a business cycle or trend, it's about to move in a different direction.

Example: Everybody agrees that stocks are a bad place to be, the advice columnists are counseling bonds, the news reports are all about stock market failures, etc... That to me seem to be the day to jump in.

All news by it's very nature is historical reporting, they are reporting the past, I've also noticed large news does not notice small trends, so in Real Estate, we have been consistently 6 months or more into a changed market before anybody is reporting it.

Why is this important? Well it seems to me that the news reporting is pretty dismal for real estate and my office is busy!

For those of you waiting for an indication "there's your sign".

Flamingos and Adirondack Chair
